I bought a small wooden toy car or kuruma from Demonchaux for the newborn son of a friend. It was a big hit. The car itself is so simply in design and beautifully made. The acrylic paint has been well applied and is scratchproof. The wheels roll evenly and the size is just right for a baby. After bubs outgrows a toy like this, it would make a cool ornament, so cool and crisp is the design. The cars come in a variety of beautiful soft colours that make a refreshing change from the harsh primaries so often used on baby toys.Demonchaux (a.k.a. Michael) lives in the Japan Alps and uses locally sourced recycled and unused timber to make his toys. I was delighted with the quick delivery and excellent customer service.
